Well, whats to know about DeeJay VIPer? He's a DJ, through and through. Over the years he's managed to play some of the larger venues in and around the UK, and plays such a varied range of styles, from Commercial Dance, to Electro House, and Hardcore Dance. He's been seen dropping his signature style in clubs such as RIVALS, The Deck, AIR, M20, and so much more. He's very loyal to his home county of Kent. If he's playing a set, he'll always give preference to the county which bore him, and gave him the opportunity to be who he is today. He started back in 1999, as a smalltime Entertainer in Kingsdown Park Holiday Villiage, just north of his hometown of Dover. It was an easy to find job, for somebody who'd just come to school leaving age. Here he entertained the holidaymakers with 'Redcoat' style acts with his friend Ian, like activities for the kids, games, Karaoke and suchlike. Ian later left the duo, for a life further up the country with his newfound love. As time went on he used his wages to purchase some cheap second hand turntables, as he had a love for Dance, and was eager to become a bedroom DJ. Time passed, and DeeJay VIPer developed into a promising DJ, managing to score his first ever club set at local club The Deck at the tender age of just 17. At this stage so many people in the local area knew him, as he was fresh out of school, and received a fantastic reception when he played his first few beats to an already eager crowd! This gave VIPer a massive buzz, and thus his addiction was born. VIPer became resident at the club for a few months until he sadly left for Essex in 2000. This was to be a wise move for his career. He moved to Basildon, where he took a job at a local supermarket to make ends meet until he found a place to play. This place was to be Yates' Wine Lodge. Famous for Friday night punch piss ups, and a popular place for young clubbers to get their cheap alcoholic fix before heading off to the bigger clubs. The sets that he played here made him a Bas Vegas veteran, and after gaining some vital experience, VIPer returned back to homeland to try out skills anew. Into 2002, and we join VIPer as an established club DJ, and now trying his hand at Radio. He'd heard of a famous internet station, CMP Radio, and decided to join up and broadcast some shows to the world. These also proved popular, and soon VIPer joined the ranks of the 'Gold' presenters where he had a very happy year until the station closed down. This left a void in VIPer's career which he always wanted to fill. So, with only clubs to satisfy him, he turned to production. In 2003, DJ VIPer won the UKDJ competition as the first newcomer to win in 4 years. With extra confidence under his belt he decided to remix his first song, DJ Sammy - Sunlight. Granted it was commercial, but proved to be a smash hit, and this gave his version all the publicity it needed.VIPer decided to spend much more time working on his production values. 2004 comes and goes, and VIPer is working his way around local clubs, always putting in time for his good friends if they ever needed a party or event catering for. In fact his New Years party was one of the biggest parties in his town of residency, and he attracted almost as many visitors as the biggest club there. VIPer took a short hiatus in 2005 to concentrate on family matters but come to 2006 and he was back, fighting fit as always in yet more of the clubs local to him. Into 2007, and we join VIPer at another juncture of his career, returning to Essex for the summer to play sets around the local superclubs. Also appearing at the home of Godskitchen for a weekend of events. As 2008 progresses, VIPer is playing at local Kent clubs as always, and has joined another Radio station, Reach OnAir where he is spending time broadcasting his now famous mix shows to millions of listeners each week. In addition to this he is in the early stages of launching a record label. Lastly, he's turned his head to Hardcore Dance. Times are changing, and VIPer's at the forefront. What lies in store for the VIPer? Who knows. 2009 is already proving to be a successful year with the launch of the Livin Hardcore event, specifically engineered for the South East of England. VIPer has managed to revive the Hardcore scene once again in that area, and hopes that it can live on for years to come. We knew you ravers were still out there!
